Change of plan!
Sadly the task for this evening has been cancelled, so Sophie will be leading a run to Everton Park and back with a brief fitness session (suitable for all levels of fitness!) at the Cathedral on the way.
There will be plenty of chances to stop and catch breath each way so don't let the distance put you off, no one is left behind!
Welcome to GoodGym Liverpool
We're a friendly and social group who combine exercise with helping out in the local community. We meet every Monday evening to get active and do a physical task to help the charities and community organisations and projects across the Liverpool City Region.
Most Group Runs will be lead one of our fabulous volunteer qualified Run Leaders, but watch out for ones listed as 'Social Runs' as this means no Run Leader is present but we still go out and run together keeping our 'no one left beind' GoodGym vibe in place!
The Task
Continuing the work removing turf from around the trees getting the ground ready to plant some meadow flowers ready for the spring. This one is a really satisfying task as it's a project we are working on from start to finish with a few sessions spread out over the months.
The Run
We'll be meeting at the Suitcases on Hope Street for a warm up and a run (with walk option) to the task. What 3 Words meet up link
This one is also really good for those new to running or not yet ready for the longer runs. The task is less than a mile away from our meet up point on Hope Street, and the run will weave though the streets, with a stop off in Falkner Square Gardens for a brief fitness session before arriving at the Women's ready for the task, making it roughly 2k each way.
With the evenings still darker we advise you to dig out those hi viz clothes and head/chest torches if you have one! Run Safe.
