Bush Trimming and weeding for lovely Mr P (wk1)(flexi)
Huge impact for mental health, wellbeing and safety
Location
Confidential location in Merton. The address will be sent to you when the mission is confirmed.
Date and time
12:00 - 13:30Colliers Wood Practice asked GoodGym to help Mr R with some gardening.
The garden is 50 x 20 foot. He would like bushes trimmed and some general weeding. He reports he has the tools required to do the work. Mr R suffered a stroke around 2 years ago and this has impacted on him significantly. He is unable to go out much and uses a frame. His quality of life has significantly decreased and having time in the garden, to use and enjoy the space will be incredibly beneficial for his mental health as well as to ensure his safety when moving around it with his frame.
Garden can be accessed through a side gate. No safety considerations have been noted. Mr R will call council to remove of the garden waste following.
GoodGym has listed this mission for one or two GoodGymers. Two GoodGymers can go together, but the mission will still go ahead with one if only one person signs up by the deadline. If you are concerned about going solo, please do not feel under pressure to attend. Instead, please send us an email to missioncontrol@goodgym.org. If you let us know, we will not confirm it unless we have a second GoodGymer.
If you’d like to do this mission but cannot make any of the listed times or dates, please email missioncontrol@goodgym.org and we will do our best to organise this for you.
