Apparently tickets are now sold out! Watch out for future swing-your-partner events

On Saturday 24 March 2018 The Molecatchers are in town and they like to party! Join your fellow Goodgym'ers for a fun evening with plenty of laughter and smiling as you try to learn the dances together, swinging each other around and trying not to bump into other people. When we went last year it was so much fun :)

I see you have questions, well, The Molecatchers have answers:

What's the difference between a barn dance and a ceilidh? Nobody knows.

How do you spell ceilidh? Nobody knows.

Do I need to be able to dance to enjoy a barn dance? No, the caller will guide everyone through the dances. If you can count and walk you can do a barn dance. Knowing left from right is an advantage, but not essential.

How much fun is a Molecatchers barn dance/ceilidh/knees-up? It's a lot of fun.

But don't take my word for it. Here is a quote from Goodgym legend and keen Ceilidh'er Caroline.

Last years Ceilidh (Barneys Birthday!) was awesome, we knew little to nothing about Ceilidhing but soon picked up spinning and stripping the willow!

Check out the event on the Folk House website. If you are interested in coming along sign up here so we know who is coming and then get yourself a ticket (£12). Hope to see you there!
