Family Friends in Windsor and Maidenhead is a small but mighty charity that provides short term support to families through our incredible network of awesome volunteers. We work in the home and community, and also deliver specialist groups to children struggling with anxiety and those impacted by domestic abuse. Our help is free, confidential, and open to any family living in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead with a child aged 0 – 13 years and up to 18 years for Armed Service Families.

Please note that this community mission has been cancelled.

An opportunity to help create a community garden from scratch at Broom Farm in Windsor. The project is being led by Gurpal, who is the a project coordinator for army families for Family Friends, a regitered charity who support local families. They have been given a small concrete area to develop, and are looking to allow the residents to develop it as they wish, Goodgym have been asked to help get the project going until it becomes established. Each week will be different, depending on what needs doing, so expect tasks to include construction, painting, planting and weeding. Please bring your own gardening gloves The site is just off the main car park on Kenneally, tucked behind the main community centre.
