Build community and a culture of positive fitness in your area by becoming a GoodGym fitness leader
What is a fitness leader?
Fitness leaders are GoodGym TaskForce members who are trained to lead participants in running, cycling and walking in groups to and from tasks.
You will new learn skills to encourage, inspire and motivate people to be physically active in a fun and welcoming way.
We know that GoodGymers love travelling to tasks together. This training will enable you to bring people together to do this.
What skills will you develop?
Build your skills
You will develop transferable skills such as planning, communication, leadership and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Promote fitness
You will promote fitness and inspire others to get active and support them to regularly run, walk or cycle.
Build your community
You will help people to exercise safely in an inclusive group setting with like minded GoodGymers.
Whatβs the commitment?
We ask fitness leaders to commit to leading 1 session per month in their area.
What youβll make happen
GoodGymers say that what motivates them to keep fit is the feeling of being part of a group, the challenge of doing new things and the tasks they complete. Becoming a GoodGym fitness leader contributes to a strong culture of inclusive fitness, helps people to reach their goals and help build community.
