Come and start GoodGym’s Super Saturday in the most glorious way possible by helping out York parkrun at the Knavesmire on Saturday 3 January 💪🎉

No experience needed — you’ll get full support on the day, and whether it’s your first time volunteering or you’re a seasoned pro, you’ll be very welcome.

Roles include finish tokens (good for the dexterous), timekeeper (needs a smartphone and fast fingers), funnel manager (great for the bossy and schoolteacherly), marshal (most clapping and giving encouragement), and barcode scanning (also needs a smartphone). We also need tailwalkers (good if taking it easy or for the injured).

We also have some running roles, such as pacers, but we aim to fill all the essential roles above first and make this a truly glorious parkrun morning.

👉 Check the roster here to see which roles are available: https://www.parkrun.org.uk/york/futureroster/

📧 Then message the Run Director at york@parkrun.com

✅ Finally, don’t forget to sign up to the GoodGym community mission too.
