This project aims to reduce food waste, gives lonely people a place to meet others and provides a meal to anyone in need.
Volunteers can help by collecting surplus food from the supermarket (you will need a car), designing and cooking the menu, or hosting (which involves setting up the tables, chatting with guests, serving the food and drinks, and clearing up afterwards).
The different roles you can volunteer for are available at different times, so you can choose whichever one works best for you. You will see fullninfortaion and will need to sign up for a slot on the FoodCycle volunteer portal. These are: Food collection 14:30 - 15:45, Cooking Team 15:45 - 19:00, Early Hosting 17:00 - 20:00 Late Hosting 18:00 - 20:00
