Clean-ups are the backbone of Thames21’s work. They are uplifting, empowering events which take place on the foreshore of the river,

People love the clean-ups because they take place in natural spaces which are often ignored, and because they give us the chance to make an obvious, immediate improvement to the environment where we live.

Typically, the clean-ups help to remove litter or invasive species, to help make our waterways thriving places for wildlife and spaces that people can enjoy.
