'A quiet oasis off Caledonian Road. Plenty of space (it is the largest square in Islington) to picnic, rest, read, admire the flowers shrubs and trees, and walk a dog. Volunteers, with the council are working to encourage healthy activities, including walking and yoga, and also to improve the diversity of wildlife in the park.'

Thornhill Square Gardens, a beautiful green space and a community gardening project (since 2017) invite the Goodgym team for regular Saturday volunteer sessions.

On the first Saturday of every month, Anna and the resident gardening team, will be hosting a range of tasks around the park.

Expect some lifting and shifting, path building, bulb planting, tree trimming and occasional weeding jobs.
