Norden Farm Centre for the Arts
Norden Farm Centre for the Arts is built on the site of an ancient farm on the outskirts of Maidenhead, Berkshire in the South East of England. We are a thriving arts centre, averaging 150 events a season, and open 7 days a week. In 2016-17 we engaged with over 180,000 people. Our spaces include an art gallery, studio theatre, main auditorium for film and live performance, Café Bar, a Georgian farmhouse and 18th century Long Barn. The award winning architecture links the contemporary with the two listed buildings.

The Maidenhead Lantern Parade is back and we can't wait! This magical Winter event brings together the local community for a celebration of creativity, light, and live music, and is guaranteed to leave you with rosy cheeks.

There is plenty to get involved with. Tasks include handing out lanterns and/or lights to members of the community, carrying lanterns during the parade and helping keep the parade at a suitable pace for the marching band.

Dress up warmly and bring a high vis vest if you have one so you can be easily identified as a volunteer.

Please sign up early so we can confirm minimum numbers with Norden Farm in advance. A briefing document will be shared with all volunteers in advance of the event. Please check that GoodGym emails aren't going into your junk folder so that you don't miss yours.
