Future Archaeology
Funded by Antepavilion, the pavilion will act as a memorial and a platform for exhibitions and events, mainly around the theme of housing, urban regeneration problems and alternatives.

You will help with constructing the pavilion with gabions—metal cages filled with standard granite sets—to define the apartment’s perimeter. The primary task is to complete the assembly of these gabions by selecting stones from the on-site pile and placing them inside the cages, aiming to form a neat, structured appearance similar to a dry stone wall. Additionally, we need to shape a small slope to provide easy access into the pavilion by repositioning the soil accordingly.

The project is in a plot visible to the public which used to be quite crucial for the communal life of the area. So we are aiming to bring the place back to the people of the Aylesbury Estate nearby and the local people, to meet and discuss about critical themes.
