Last Wednesday we went to a new task! We went to YHA Thameside to do some weeding.
Emma, Rosemary and Jessie met us at the task. Meanwhile, Isaac, Gemma, Sam and Emma ran with me and it was definitely one of our longer runs. The run was worth it though, since Jess from YHA gave us warm cookies and drinks.
The weeds were quite easy to pull out, apart from the spikey ones. Isaac also spotted some massive mushrooms.

12 Goodgymmers competed against each other to clear up trees around Telegraph Hill.
On a night with snow, sleet and rain we set off from Old Spike, very wrapped up, after a brief warm up.
At Telegraph Hill we split up into 3 teams to collect trees. Paulin's team won with a massive 8 trees collected and 2.3km run and a total of 37 points.

We gathered at the Old Spike Roastery before setting off for our Christmas addition group run. Emma K and Rosemary were in the Christmas spirit with festive head gear. We did a short run through Peckham Rye park to Nunhead Salvation Army where a few other Goodgymers joined us at the task. Polis set us to work and a smaller group including - Daryl, Katy, Sam, Isaac and Steve helped moved some boxes and large items. The rest of us disinfected the toys they use for the baby groups held at the venue. Once everything was cleaned we had our obligatory photo and ran back to Old Spike for our cool down. Once we finished we headed to Voodoo Rays and where our Christmas Party began with Sam's annual quiz ! Credits to Andrada for the pics ๐ธ

Isaac Beevor (He/him) been cheered 1000 times.
Isaac is extraordinary; they've received 1000 cheers. That's some serious noise and some serious support. Isaac is an apostle.

9 goodgymmers came out on wednesday to run to Thorlands to help Simon out.
Cecilia, Isaac & Paulin took on the task of turning over the worm filled compost trough in the walled garden while the rest of team headed down towards the club house. Underneath a mountain of fresh leaves was some steaming hot mulch. Nathan, Mansur and Lindy dug down into the pile to retrieve the mulch while Nelly, Jessie and Rosie cleared the beds and spread the mulch.
Thanks Gang!!
