Join us this week as we get fit and do good deeds around Wanstead and Snaresbrook. In recent weeks, we have weeded and tidied at the Wanstead Community Allotment, mixed and sorted paint with Forest Recycling Project and flyered for a Active Together fitness initiative.

This week we will be heading over to Wanstead Community Allotment to continue the good work over there. Depending on what needs doing we will be planting, weeding or clearing space at the back of the allotment. Lots of good to do and lots of fun to be had while we get fit.

The session will include a 6km run and fitness session in the local parks and green spaces.

As usual we will meet at Wanstead House Community Association at 6:45pm and we’ll be off up the road by 7. Secure bag storage, bike locking area and limited car parking also available.

5km total distance

Remember that we run to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you can't run for more than 15mins without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us or see if there's a starter session coming up in your area.

There's space to change and leave bags and toilets. We're not planning to do anything purposefully dangerous, but GoodGym takes no responsibility for your safety during group runs, you participate at your own risk. Participants accept full responsibility for items stored at Wanstead House Community Association, and Wanstead House Community Association and GoodGym will not be held liable for any losses or damages.
