Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
21 amazing Goodgym elves collected up 10 bags of leaves, ran 5km and did a reindeer relay!
Last night was the final GoodGym Camden of the year and it was awesome. We welcomed Rory along to his first group run and cheered for our great success in 2016!
In the news this week:
After an active warm up we headed to Cecil Sharp House, an organisation known for it's collection of folk music and it's community feel. We have been going to Cecil Sharp on a monthly basis since May this year and this tradition will continue throughout 2017!
Home of folk!
Our task tonight was to collect all the leaves in the flower beds, car park and around the entrances. We split into teams with Polly and Frances in charge all went swimmingly!
After taking a cracking group pic and saying goodbye to Susannah we made our way to Primrose Hill for the annual Camden Christmas Games.
Reindeer Relay!
Once at our games location I revealed the challenge of the evening - a Reindeer Relay - in teams of six! The course was laid out along the bottom of the park, over the hill and down into the sprint finish. However it was no normal relay, the team's baton was a pair of antlers and a red nose. Both had to be kept on at all times while running!
We got underway with antlers flying and noses lighting up throughout the area. It was a close one right up until the finish but the ultimate winners were Frances' Team!
Celebration time!
After the group run we headed to a lovely South-Indian restaurant called Diwana in Euston, it was brilliant to celebrate the year we've had with all you amazing people!
Much love, happy running and Merry Christmas!
PB out.
