Who this task will support

AfC Old Malden Family Hub

Everything families need to support their children from conception to adulthood. Our services include activities for children from birth through to teenage years. Early learning including child development, speech & language support and SEND support. Parenting support including courses and information, advice & guidance. Health services including midwifery, health visiting, oral health, mental health, nurtition and childhood immunisations. Support with housing, finance, employment & employability skills.

The Old Malden Family Hub needs to be transformed so that families can play there safely. Once the garden is clear of brambles and weeds, they will be able to access the garden to begin renovations so that the outside space can then be used.

The family hub garden is completely overgrown - they need support to remove weeds and clear it as much as possible before renovation works begin on it later into autumn. The task would also include helping to sort through old/broken toys to be put into a skip.

Please bring gardening gloves and old clothes for this task. Be careful of brambles and broken toys.
