Who this task will support
Derbyshire Wildlife Trust
We've been protecting wildlife and wild spaces in Derbyshire since 1962. As the leading conservation charity in Derbyshire, we work hard to support our local wildlife with the support of our wonderful volunteers and members. With 55 Nature Reserves across the county and countless conservation and wellbeing projects, we're pretty busy! Today, the political environment has changed but we are still fighting for our wildlife and wild spaces and you can help.

GoodGym Derby are teaming up with Derbyshire Wildlife Trust to help keep Alvaston free from litter.

Please wear some protective gloves (gardening ones are ideal) and some older clothes. We will be outside for the entire session. Litter pickers, hoops and bin bags are provided and the aim of the session will be to clear some litter and some brambles.

We're starting the session at 10.30am and will be there until 12.30pm.

There is parking at the site which is shared with a local fishing club so please look to car share where possible if you are attending with a partner, family member or friend.

Please sign up by 12pm on Friday 18th October.

Please note that all GoodGym volunteering sessions are open to adults aged 18 years and over and we do welcome assistance dogs only.

Iain from Derbyshire Wildlife Trust will be helping out at this session so please find him on your arrival to get some equipment and get stuck in.
