4 GoodGymers made their way to help the Crisis at Christmas Warehouse in Newham.
- Wednesday, 13th of January 2021
- Led by Brahma Pochee
After helping to build up and organise the central warehouse for Crisis for Christmas last year, it was now time to help get things in order for the inevitable clearing out - the building will be torn down to build flats...
It is usually best not to go in with any expectations, since it is hard to predict what tasks Richard has in store! Todays list of accomplishments:
- clearing up lots of chocolate boxes, all empty except for one bar that got 'rescued'
- sorting through a pallet of crates and put things back where they belong
- reorganise a series of crates & containers (the big ones on wheels)
- sort, count & repack the 'activities' section, with tables gathered around the complex
Now regarding the title.... credit to Katrin for this. She was referring to socks looking like Prince William, one pick out of a variety of items we came across, from little bags of pickled onions to tiny pepper & salt shakers and more.
Please give Tina & Tom a cheer for their first & second Goodgym experience respectively! Hope to see you guys again soon.
