Autumnal winds are blowing in and it feels like the season of pumpkin spiced lattes and Tim Burton films. I know it is definitely spider season; when I was last in Mrs I’s garden I had spiders crawling out of my hair for the rest of the day! It was the same today. Mrs I’s garden is like a spider nature reserve, I counted over 20 different types. Luckily I’ve not got arachnophobia. I’ve been to Mrs I’s three times now and it’s definitely been a process. The last two times were with Pauline and I definitely missed her today. My task today was to cut back the brambles that were growing over the back fence and rake the lawn. Had an Edward Scissorhands moment when I was chopping away with the hedge shearers. Mrs I is bed bound, even though she can’t get out to enjoy the garden, I hope that she can feel better knowing that it’s been tidied up.
