4 GoodGymers smashed out 60 minutes of running fitness in Elephant and Castle!
New month, new start location!! Meeting in Elephant & Castle ready to roll in the early evening sunshine.
We headed down to Imperial War museum park and really had a balance focus to combine a couple of objectives for the evening. Reinforcing our core conditioning with excellent balance drills and holds as well as strengthening our lower body and muscles surrounding our ankle joints with some tough proprioceptive work!
With our lower body fully engaged with drills and strength work we moved onto some running form drills. Working on knee drive, body position we really upped our speed and power with our new groved, efficient techniques.
Putting our evenings work together we finished off the session with a speedy 5 minute continuous relay we're we pushed our speeds in a big way!!
