Our first task at this vibrant community hub. They are in the process of revamping their outdoor space and our help was needed to strip the trees of suffocating ivy, followed by weeding along one of the paths. It was great to meet new member Amina who arrived early and initially got roped into a completely different task! This was with the wonderful FoodCycle group who prepare a free hot meal here that anyone can enjoy. Host Sandra told us there are plenty more things we can help with at the centre, indoors and out, so we will be back.
