This week's Group Run took us on a 3km each-way run and walk to Oak Grove Community Church.

A big welcome to two new members this week - Rocio and Susanna were taking part in their first Group Runs with us.

Everyone met at The Forum and after a warm-up we set off with Elizabeth being backrunner/walker.

Becca greeted us with tools and explained what we had to do, which was clear as many weeds and overgrown areas as we can.

After 45 minutes we blitzed the area and transformed it.

Oak Grove Community Church
Church at the heart of our community

When all our groups restart, we serve our community of Catton Grove in many ways - children's and youth activities, toddler group, coffee mornings for all ages but particularly beneficial to the elderly and the lonely, support for vulnerable families, money advice, a community choir, charity shop and craft group! We also (currently) meet online every Sunday for teaching and fellowship.
