This week 13 runners ran 5km to help Scope tidy the store room.

We were joined by two newbies: Laura, Una - give 'em a cheer!

We took the scenic route along the river lea to Stamford Hill.Niamh helped me lead the pack, while Sarah was our trusty back-marker. Strategically avoiding the big hill meant we doubled the first leg of the run and got lots of green and water and not too much traffic.

We met Coral at Scope who treated us to some lemonade and water before telling us our task. Abi lead half the team through a bag labeling task while everybody else sorted through donation bags for stuff to sell and stuff to donate for rags.

Abi's team was finished in record time, which meant they were able to complete a bonus task of sorting out the shop floor and getting all the clothes in size order.

Before long it was time to leave. We said our goodbyes and made our way down the hill back to Tottenham. Niamh and Alex were with me in the front, pegging it down the hill whilst concentrating on knee drive.

Once back at Tottenham Green we did a quick circuit and some running drills before finishing up with stretches back at base.
