** 9 runners ran 7k to give out information cards to the homeless for SIFA Fireside explaining the services they provide**
On a freezing night we had nine hardy souls for what was GG Brum’s 2nd birthday run, hence this weeks pun provided by Morwenna.
We set off on our way, cards in hand, stopping off to give them out. We did our usual loop around the city, handing out cards to over a dozen people. Apart from the freezing temps, we also had some snow to contend with! We then stopped off at Colmore Row for a quick picture before carrying on to 1000 Trades. It was decided that we would bin the pre-planned circuits as it was a bit too cold to stand around between exercises! Yes tonight was definitely a night to keep moving! Instead once back at base, we carried on completing a loop around the Jewellery Quarter to take us up to just shy of 7k for the evening.
Great work team on such a cold night. Once that was done, it was time for one last picture and then back into the very welcome warmth of the pub!
Next week we will be out doing good again, it would be great if you could join us sign up here. We also have an extra session this Saturday morning, meeting outside Bannatynes Priory gym at 10am. sign up here.
