Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Last night was our second ever Goodgym run. It was great to see new faces, but also great to see guys from last weeks launch to. We started the evening with a head count introducing a prize of 10 star jumps for getting our quiz question right. Well done Susan for winning 😂. After our warm up (remember we warm up to run, we don't run to warm up) we headed out 2.25K to Danson Youth Centre where we were greeted by Ben and showed to our good deed task. Our task for the evening was to get there Astro Turf pitch back in use. Being a large area we set to work clearing all the growth, dirt and sand from the edges. It wasn't long till we had filled 5 rubble sacks. With everyone's hard work we managed to do more then expected and can't wait to come back and get the pitch up and running again. After a quick Goodgym runners photo pose it was fitness time. This week we concentrated on sprints, suicides in fact. It's surprising how quick we can move when there's a forfeit. To finish our session we introduced a new still. How to sprint and keep an 'I Love Running' sign on your chest. It was so funny. You guys we're just awesome this evening. After saying our good byes we headed back running 2.25K to Goodgym Bexleys home base where we completed this weeks run with static stretches and a good chat. Special thanks to Neil for being our back marker this week, really appreciated. Just want to finish by saying a massive well done and see you all again next week..........

That sounds like a lot of fun, looks like Sean did well keeping that sign in place!
