Woodchip chiminey, woodchip cher-oo!
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the Braywick Nature Centre in Windsor and Maidenhead.

I mentioned a task to maintain the path through a wood, Amy said "I'll be there with blue-bells on!". Kelley who was pulling a double shift had already loaded up the wheelbarrows and showed us how to get stuck in. Newcomer Jas completed our team of volunteers! Jason and Alistair were on hand to answer our many questions on the importance of caring for this fragile ecosystem. Each delivery of wheelbarrowed woodchip required careful leveling with large wooden rakes to make the path even and safe. Channeling our inner Dick van Dyke to sweep the path we resisted the urge to break into song as not to frighten the local wildlife. All wood things come to an end, as we said our cheery byes, Jas headed off for a run, Tara and Amy cycled home and Kelley showed her family her wood-work.
