Martin Way Methodist Church
Christian CARE is a charity working in the London Borough of Merton. They are a group of 60 volunteers from 16 different churches offering help to anyone whatever their race, colour or religion. Each year over 100 families, whose lives are in crisis, are supported.
They are always in need of food, clothes and furniture, so please follow the link to their website for further details and their latest requirements.
Please note that this community mission has been cancelled.
We will be helping set up the tables and chairs to create a comfy space for those visiting The Open Table later in the morning for a cuppa or hot meal. If time there will also be some cleaning jobs to do.
On arrival ask for Jon and do keep an eye out to say hello to Rebecca and the team of volunteers who will be prepping the food in the kitchen.
