Twenty six runners elephant file to the Portico.

We had just one task tonight and it was our longest run. With a batch of new runners and some just getting back into it after a break, we split into three groups:

  • The keen group
  • The medium keens
  • The chilled team

Once out of the madness of Brixton we split into our groups. The first two went in Elephant File - a long line with a leader who shouted between 1 and 3. That number had to run from the back to the front of the group. Everyone made it along amidst the noise of the traffic and reached Portico to get out gazebos and put covers on them. Then we covered the covers with other covers.

I really enjoyed the elephant file - said Steve, who was leading the keen group

After that it was off back down the hill. A solid 7.5km and the furthest some people had ever run. Good work Lambeth!
