Sustainable MertonWelcome to WWF x GoodGym’s Workout for Nature
From 7th April WWF and GoodGym are collaborating on hundreds of sessions to celebrate Earth Day. Each session will involve a Workout for Nature - a physical volunteering activity which will benefit local green spaces, and give your own wellbeing a boost. Simply sign up below and come along. No experience required!
Established in 2008 by Sustainable Merton, in collaboration with the National Trust, Merton Abbey Horticultural Society, Merton Council and the local community, Phipps Bridge Community Garden is an example of community gardening at its best.
The volunteer team grow lots of fruit and veg and they regularly donate their surplus harvests to Merton's Community Fridge at Morden Baptist church.
We will be helping with various jobs - in case it rains do make sure you are on the Goodgym Merton WhatsApp group or contact Jade for updates. Bring gardening gloves if you have them, wear layers and dress appropriately for the weather as we will be outdoors. On arrival ask for Nick or Gillian.
