This evening, five of us headed to the Scope charity shop on London Road to lend a hand. With a stock take underway, our task was to tidy and organise the shop floor — sorting the clothing rails by size, colour, and type. It was a surprisingly satisfying job, and we all enjoyed bringing a little extra order to the store.

I was part of the team last April that helped clean the shop ahead of its launch, so it was fantastic to be back. The store still looks as stylish as ever — more boutique than traditional charity shop — and is packed with great finds, including a dedicated vintage section.

As closing time approached, a flurry of GoodGymers took the chance to try on some of the gems they’d spotted while sorting. The final haul? Five items bought and a very happy team!

Fancy joining for another visit on Friday? HERE’s your chance.
