Maryon Park Community GardenPlease note that this community mission has been cancelled.
The Maryon Park Community Garden is a voluntary community project providing raised growing beds for local people. The garden features an orchard, wild flower bank, art installation, a children's area, a poly tunnel and a greenhouse.
They have been closed for over a year and are just reopening so we will have many happy Saturday sessions here to come.
They will have just had some wood chip delivered so we'll be wheelbarrowing this up through the garden and spreading it on the ground.
It can be a bit tricky to find- make sure you go to Maryon Park rather than Maryon Wilson Park and look for the park-keeper's house at the bottom of the tennis courts!
Please bring your own gardening gloves.
How are you getting there?

Area Activator at GoodGym Greenwich. I love community and getting to know all the great initiatives and people that make it what it is!
Sorry to have to cancel this lovely community mission. Edna who runs the garden has broken her femur so will be out of action for a few months. We'll be back again as soon as we can!
