With post run pancakes on the brain, 5 GoodGymers set off on our Tuesday group run to help Oxfam Cheadle to clear their back yard of muddy debris, making it more inviting for donated goods to be dropped off safely.

We set out, in the light (lighter nights are coming! woohoo!) to run the 2.5km run down to our local Oxfam, where we were met by one of their friendly and dedicated volunteers, David.

Armed with shovels and brushes, we speedily 'curled' the mud into bags ready for disposal until the yard was clear.

In this week's group run, we welcomed James for his first session with GoodGym Stockport. Our old timer, Rob was on hand to lead the return run while Sarah, Jo and I backmarked, chatting of travels and chickens!
