17 GGers ran 4-6k to help Scope Charity Shop in Camden
Welcome along to newbies Ben, Dairo and Martin something and another guy - lovely to have you along!
In the news this week:
Back to what happened last night! Corrr! We went off to help one of our favourite tasks - Scope Charity Shop in Camden. Helen and her volunteers are always so grateful for our help, our work has been recognised at a Southern England Scope Managers meeting, hopefully other groups will be able to help other shops in the future - great!
After 1.2k of running we arrived at the shop, Helen soon put us all to work, tasks included:
Over 40 minutes we worked really hard and got loads done - amazing! After a group picture we went for a run around Regents Park, with one part of the group heading directly home and the other taking on a 1km time trial.
Good work guys - nice one!
Signup for next week here when we'll be Christmas decorating for SPCA.
