Report written by Bristol runner
On a beautiful summers evening we met up at Hannah More Primary School to enjoy the sunshine and do some good.
There really was some in tents action tonight, not least from our expert tent putter uppers Dave and Roz who put up rather fetching blue tent, good work.
In the other corner was Charlene who became a centurion tonight having done 100 good deeds, congratulations :) Joining Charlene was Sara, Robyn and myself. Our job was to weed the raised beds and plant up some tomatoes, gooseberries and chillis. Along the way, in what I believe is good luck, we found a chicken’s foot, or was it a dinosaur? It was tempting to make a goosehilli or a goosemato plant but we kept it simple and in what seemed like no time we were finished.
At the end there was time to tuck into a lovely cake and chance to admire the beds we had worked on from a previous visit.
I’m off to have a beer or a gin. See you again soon.
