Long, shorter and walk options available to explore this lovely area

Some of us are planning to run the Ilkley Skyline and would welcome anyone else who would like to join us.

The full route is about 22 miles (with 850m of elevation). A shorter route of just under 10k has also been identified. Or, if you’d like to do a walk round there, that’s also fine.

Handily, the full Skyline route starts and finishes at The Hermit pub (which is also near the 10k route) so plenty of chance to rest and refuel afterwards.

If you’d like to do either the shorter route or walk option, please let us know in the Run Chat WhatsApp group. (Or comment here if you’re not in that group and I can send you the link.)

Similarly, if you’d like to chat about lift-sharing, please let us know via WhatsApp.

There’s also an option to do the new Ilkley parkrun (slightly disappointingly named East Holmes Field for anyone else chasing an elusive I in the parkrun alphabet…) beforehand.

So you can either meet us at the parkrun start just before 9 or at The Hermit Inn at 10.

Let us know if you’ve got any questions, and see you there 😁
