14 Brent bandits, ran 6k, to 28th Willesden Scout Group; To sing, dance, weed-wack and cartwheel their way through an awesome Goodgym night!

On the most glorious evening of the summer so far, London was bathed in a glow of honey as the sun set and one brilliant team of red-shirted Goodgymers set off on their mission to sprinkle positive vibes all over the borough of Brent

First in store was a welcome and hello at our beloved base camp - The Queensbury. A joyful greeting was had between many a familiar face but I was also delighted to welcome 3 newbies into the fold: Dan, Trisha and Melanie hurrah!!

Setting off and our power house team of 14 were led by (potential lead runner in the making) Nisha, who as it goes was also our host for the night!! After a...... somewhat wiggly route down to our destination and an extra lil 0.3 of a mile we arrived..... 28th Willesden Scout Hut.

Upon arrival Nisha set straight to work explaining the task ahead - Gardening, Weeding and clearing of the front of site. Green fingers at the ready and an awesome soundtrack of motivational tunes ringing in our ears, yesssssss I remembered to bring the speakers woop woop we got cracking!

Half way through and a large amount of backbreaking work already achieved, I blew the whistle for - Play time Onto the field and giggling like a gaggle of 5 year olds on sports day, it was relays all the way!!!! *Wheelbarrows *Piggy back races *Lunge walks *Rugby scrum partner push

Not to mention, finishing the circuit with the best array of gymnastic cartwheels seen since Simone Bile's last Olympic Floor routine..... Okay, if truth be told.... They were better!!!!!

Back to work and cheered on by last tune of the night 90s classic teenage dirtbag while our own bags of dirt were filled and stacked, ready to push on home for the last of the evenings fun and games.

Never a group willing to leave a session without the of all energy exhausted, it was tempo sprints all the way home, led on by Andrea at the helm and Trisha and myself back-marking at the rear.

**Oh what a night, to Twist and Scout, filling dirtbags for fun and cartwheeling like teenagers until the sun set over a beautiful evening in Brent.

Until next time.....

DO GOOD. FEEL GOOD. INSPIRE.
