Roots4LifeRoots4Life is a community action project set up to tackle childhood obesity. They teach cooking skills, horticulture and the importance of nutrition and host a community fridge and regular community meals.
We've done some tree and hedgerow maintenance and planting here and there's always a lovely group of volunteers helping out.
This week they will be leading a litter pick in the local streets. If you're available do come along - meet at Roots4Life at 10.00 to pick up a litter picker, gloves and hoops and rubbish bags. You'll be welcome for a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate afterwards!
