The House of Pain(t) - Jump up, jump up and get down
7 GoodGymers made their way 7.0km to help the FRP The Paint Place Warehouse in Redbridge.

On a pleasant autumn evening, seven of Goodgym's finest runners ran to the Forest Recycling Project to do good deeds and ran 7.5km in the process.
With the days getting shorter, it's time for GG Redbridge to do a few more indoors deeds and one of our favourites is the Forest Recycling Project. With six Redbridge regulars joined by Newham runner, Rosie, there was no time to waste. A 3.75km run to FRP took around 20 minutes giving the group plenty of time to help Nilesh, the owner of this great community project.
With the first part of the run done, the group got to work moving cans of paint, mixing and sorting and painting the toilet. It's a messy job but great fun and there is always plenty for us to do.
With 50 or so cans of paint stirred, sorted and labeled and the toilet with its first coat of white paint on, it was time to run the 3.75km back to base for some gentle stretching.
Another great task and it's amazing to see the changes taking place at FRP. If you want to know more about what they are doing check them out here. In the meantime, if you want to get involved you can sign up for next week's task here.
