Report written by Windsor and Maidenhead runner
Jess, Amy and Amanda headed to The Lawns Nursery to spruce up the wooden play park that sits as an oasis off busy Imperial Road..... and to celebrate Jess’ OUTSTANDING achievement of doing no less than 50 good deeds!!! What an amazing undertaking, especially whilst working and coaching girls’ football in her spare time - what a woman! Congratulations Jess!!
Jess and Amy started the evening clocking some kms around Imperial Park whilst Amanda ran to the event from home.
After a rummage around for a screwdriver, paint tins were prised open with kiddie scissors and the team got to work revamping the (quite frankly fabulous) children’s play area. A lot was done but there is still MUCH more to do so let’s get everyone signed up to next week’s session.... and we will see who can balance like Amy (but avoid bumping their head on the tree like she did!)
