Brick or treat
11 GoodGymers made their way to help the Dads Lane Community Association in Birmingham.
- Saturday, 19th of March 2022
- Led by Miriam
Today we welcomed the lovely Karen to GoodGym for the first time! At one of our favourite missions - helping out at Dad's Lane Community Assocation.
Today our task was simple - fill an empty skip with bricks! What a beautiful sunny day for a mission. We were greeted by Steve and his daughter, who provided us with all the tea/coffee and brownies we could need. (HENCE THE PUN!). Then we proceeded to fill the skip. Seeing as there was so many of us we did at first attempt a construction line scenario, but instead opted for wheelbarrows and just carrying quantities of bricks at a time.
Afterwards we headed to the pubs and bars of Stirchley on a GoodGym social. It was so so lovely to spend quality time with each other.
