CORR BLIMEY !! we actually managed to dodge the hail storms tonight and although the threat had obviously put a few off venturing out tonight we still managed to muster up 11 for a 5k run plus some hill reps up Sham castle lane.
THIRD TIME LUCKY
There was a last minute change to tonights task as the planned flyering for SEND A COW had to be shelved because the leaflets for Bath Half Marathon didn't arrive in time. The back up plan was charity bag dropping for The British Heart Foundation and handing out the remaining gift bags for the homeless.
HE WAS ONLY JOE-KING
Joe or Barry as he's also know decided it might be fun to spice the evening up with some hill reps up Sham Castle lane and not being one to disappoint the group despite the groans, the decision was taken for Joe to lead with Steph back marking.
HI HO !! OFF WE GO
Mary and Lydia kindly posting the charity bags whilst the others enjoyed 6 hill reps and it was clear to hear how much they enjoyed it especially the guys. Some strange chanting at the top from the guys especially but i'm sure they were having fun.
LAST TASK
To hand out the remaining gift packs for the rough sleepers and their dogs before heading back to the leisure centre, plus we beat the next storm so it was a win win situation despite the early hiccup with the task.
THANKS JOE !!
A quick reminder that The Wassail group run is on Sunday.
