9 Goodgymmers ran to Baby Basics 2 miles each way, including our own beacon Mel in the most luminous jacket I have ever seen! Awesome start to the January Challenge, Leicester are in the game.

Baby Basics are a charity that provide the essentials to families in need with babies and children. After being welcomed we split into 2 teams upstairs for clothes sorting, downstairs for the cot building race. Unlucky for David and Stu they were a screw short, meaning Huw and Sarah won the race, only for clever Stu to point out we had the cot sides upside-down! meanwhile upstairs were sorting between clothes sizes, boy or girl and creating bags to send to families in need.

The session proved how valuable it is to check the equipment before being sent to families in need. Lovely place, very well organised perfect start for 2023.
