Six goodgymer's met on a tropical (suprisingly not freezing but very much still cold) Friday lunchtime to help save the hedge at Rowntree Park from the dreaded brambles and invasive trees that are trying to take it over.

After 45 minutes of some serious hedge fighting, bramble breaking, tree sawing and generally just attacking whatever we could find, we had succeeded to turn the hedge from an eye-sore into a thing of beauty! With only the one accident where Claire had her own eye-sore after getting something stuck inside it. Lucy had pointed out that us four-eyes glasses wearers were the winners for once!

Then it was back to work (or Friday fun).

Another January Challenge good deed ticked off!
