Another Bank Holiday was upon as. With a lot of people away on holiday we only had a few of us this evening but that didn't stop us getting on with the job in hand. Yep, tonight we headed over to Danson park to do our usual Bank Holiday clear up run. With the size of the group we had we could sadly only cover a little bit of the park so we headed to the place we knew would be the busiest.

I,m not sure if its the warm weather we've been having but on Bank Holidays people using the park for picnics seem to forget to take their rubbish home with them, so believe me when i say the litter picking sessions are quite a workout. Not only are we running around trying to get as much done as possible in the time we have we also have to try and carry the heavy bin bags around with us too ;-)

With time no longer on our side it was a quick run back to Base Camp Crooklog for our cool down. Our aim on the way back from the park is to get back quicker than what it took us to get there. Trying to get a negative split is not always easy, but we do try. With the cool down and stretches completed we were welcomed by some awesome homemade made by Sarah. Coming tonight was worth it just for that alone. Thanks so much Sarah..........

To finish off i just want to give a big high 5 to our Run Leader Susan for leading the warm up and run this evening, you done a fabulous job. To our new comers Ben and Jane, we hope you enjoyed the evening. And last but not least thanks Sarah, Pete and Gordan for coming out on a Bank Holiday evening.

See you all next week...........
