Yeah that title doesn’t make much sense, but anyway…

Today we were finishing off the task we started last time we were here. Cutting ivy and other undergrowth away from the fence (which was put there in the 1930s for fans of facts - the fence not the ivy) so that it can be repaired.

After an hour ish of enthusiastic snipping we downed tools and had some tea, coffee and biscuits before heading on our way. A great task where you can really see the difference afterwards (though maybe not from my photos).

Until next time…

Church Garden Fence Improvements
Finish clearing the growth, mostly ivy, from the ancient low wooden fence surrounding the church and garden.

Tremendous help assisting to retain the local church in Leigh Woods, where funds are very tight. GoodGymers cleared two thirds of the fence before Christmas; one more session will complete the task and enable the old fence to be refurbished.
