Date and time
10:00 - 12:00The Severn Bridge Half Marathon returns after four very successful and highly acclaimed events. The race was voted BEST NEW RACE in the Runners World Personal Best awards.
The event starts on the Western (Chepstow) end of the Severn Bridge on the motorway itself and after crossing the bridge and back finishes in the event HQ below J2 of the M48, right next to the car park. The route suits both first timers and experienced club runners - it provides something a bit different from your average 'run-of-the-mill' city half marathon: stunning views, sea air, scenic country lanes and villages and the opportunity to participate in a unique running event on a closed motorway and across the iconic Severn Bridge. Full course details can be found here.
The Severn Bridge 10k was new for 2017 and returns again in 2018. It's on the same day as the Half and finishes in the same place as the half. Event car parking etc is also the same as the Half. The 10k will start though in a different place and a slightly different time to the Half Marathon
Enter Here for either the 10k or the Half Marathon and freely change to the other event later.
Note this race is not located in Cardiff - but the website will not allow a new address to be entered. Simply follow the link for location and travel info.
