There’s a greener side to our city. A vibrant, more open side. It should be celebrated, Nurtured, Enjoyed by everyone. Our allotments and parks are the lungs of our city. We’re here to breathe new life into them.

Come join us helping Newcastle Parks with an assortment of gardening tasks in Walker Park.

Jobs are decided by Newcastle Parks as needed on the day but can include takes like weeding flower, edging paths, cutting back bushes, crowning trees, litter picking, etc.

Tools and glove are provided but feel free to bring your own gardening gloves if you have then.

We will meet at the task. Looked out for red t-shirts, or a Newcastle council or urban green van to find us or message in the WhatsApp group if you still can't see us.
