Happy Easter folks! To make the most of our locked-down Easter weekend, I set the team a challenge of 10 activities to complete over 4 days...
This included a mix of fitness tasks; running 10km, planking for as long as possible, completing a 1 minute wall squat and more. Plus there were good deeds and connection tasks such as writing a real letter, re-connecting with an old friend and picking up 10 items of litter.
Here are some of the highlights:
I completed the 10 tasks (so much fun and amazing for mental health btw). I live opposite the Women’s [Hospital], so hoping the staff can see this sign from their windows! ~ Ruth
The dogs were not impressed with the lunges, as it slowed them down, so were pleased when I did the sprints. They did, however enjoy the skipping and side stepping, and did their own repetitions...sniffing everything, weeing every few minutes, and eating grass whenever they could. ~ Pauline
Think I managed 8/10. My 10K on Strava. My good deeds in the attached pictures. Thanks for keeping us all going Char, your positivity is infectious! I ran 7K today which is the furthest I've ran in one go for nearly a year! ~ Christina
