Waterloo Street Community Garden
The Friends of Waterloo Street Community Garden is an association which was set up to renovate our Community Garden following essential demolition work last year. It's an ongoing project which seeks to organically garden an urban area so that friends, neighbours and visitors have somewhere to both relax and congregate - the space is also used for community events.

Waterloo Street Community Garden is a much loved, well used space which is 100% staffed by volunteers and 100% funded by donations and applied-for grants.

They need help to rescue the garden from some recent vandalism to rejuvenate the original charm of this community space. There will be some general tidy up, pavement weeding, deadheading, moving and cleaning behind pots to make the space look as neat and tidy as possible.

Bring your garden gloves and enthusiasm and be prepared for a fun fitness session after!

I cant guarantee for the English weather :-) but we'll try to cease the autumnal sunset on Brighton seafront, keeping well in mind that our daylight is shortening sooner, and sooner! So, please let's bring your headtorches for this group session and task.

! PLEASE NOTE

We will meet at the Peace Statue at 18:00 (sooner than usual) to depart soon after to get to the garden by 18:15. If late, or not running, meet us at the task in Waterloo Street, Hove, England, BN3 1AQ between The Old Market and the Waterloo Street Arch.
