Sweat, blood and tears were all involved this evening.

A small, but perfectly formed group of runners, including a welcome back to Tim, on his second run turned up on a chilly but dry evening.

Following a warm up of Snake we ran through the streets of Leamington Spa, the back runner sprinting ahead of the snake to form the head, before the tail runner sprinted forwards, and so on until we hit the lights. ITs the first time the group has been so silent, concentrating on the runners around them.

Once we arrived at the task, there were many stairs to climb - again.... Our high knees were getting a good workout this evening.

It was an evening of games, pacman (or pack man with everyone carrying the boxes) Iain played Tetris loading the van, and Becky making some running commentries to keep everyone going.

There was a lot of sweat with the constant climbing of 8 flights of stairs, and some tears and blood when a box decided to bite a GoodGymer. He was very brave and didn't make a scene at all......

Once the van was full, we did a gentle job back to base, where hill repeats were in order.... Just a couple due to the workout on the stairs, with Ragu and James topping the leader board, being superheros and taking on an extra repeat - they needed to get those KM's in for the January challenge.

Once back to base, a lot of stretches to ease out the legs and arms from all the lifting and stair running.

Great session this week, with some real improvements on everyones hill running.

See you all next time...
