11 Ran to Mencap to paint the dining room.

Another fun session with Mencap where we painted the dining room completing the job so that it looked smooth and even. A third coat of paint on the walls and some further painting to the skirting meant the job is almost complete. the room looks much brighter and I am sure the effects will be appreciated by all who use this room. Grace has already tweeted her thanks for our work! In return I would like to say thanks for the teas (and coffee) she made us and thanks to all at City mencap for the muffins, they were amazing! It was a good effort by all the team, a special shout out to Newbie Richard and the return of James from injury was good to see. Both were invaluable to the squad working hard on the high up areas at the top of the ladders. We finished the session with some relays in the park, which reminded us we may need head torches soon!

Also really good to know we have finally got someone paired with a "coach" in Chelmsford, Rachel has been visiting her coach and we hope we will get others connected soon.

Next week we are going to Farleighs Hospice so we have an extra long run and will need to leave as soon as we can after 6.30pm. Details here
